This Privacy Policy applies to Small Steps (the “App”). The App is a slow-jogging cadence guidance tool that uses a local countdown, local rhythm audio, and local session state to help users maintain a steady cadence.
The current version of the App does not collect, upload, sell, or share users’ personal information.
The App does not require users to register an account and does not ask users to provide a name, email address, phone number, address, identification document, payment information, or other personally identifiable information.

This information is stored only on the user’s own device. It is not sent to the developer’s servers or shared with third parties. Users can change these settings in the App or clear the locally stored information by deleting the App.
The App uses iOS system audio capabilities to play local countdown cues and rhythm audio, and it supports background audio playback during an active jogging session.
When a jogging session is running or paused, the App may display media playback information in iOS Control Center or on the Lock Screen, such as the title, playback progress, total duration, and play / pause / stop status. This information allows users to control the current session through system media controls and is not uploaded to the developer’s servers.
The App does not access the microphone and does not record or analyze users’ voices.
The current version of the App does not include third-party analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, social login SDKs, or cross-app or cross-website tracking features.
The App does not sell user data to third parties or share user data for advertising, marketing, or user-profiling purposes.
When users download, purchase, or update the App through the App Store, Apple may process data related to the App Store, the device, or the user’s account in accordance with Apple’s own privacy policy. This data is processed by Apple and is not directly controlled by the App’s developer.
If the developer enables or receives crash reports, diagnostic information, or App Analytics data provided by Apple in the future, and that data affects the App’s privacy practices, this Privacy Policy and the App Privacy information in App Store Connect will be updated accordingly.
The App is not specifically designed for children and does not knowingly collect children’s personal information. Because the current version does not collect users’ personal information, if the developer discovers that a future version has inadvertently collected children’s personal information, the developer will take reasonable steps to delete that information and update this policy.
The current version of the App does not transmit users’ personal information to the developer’s servers. Settings stored locally on the device are protected by the security mechanisms of iOS and the device itself.
Users should still take appropriate steps to protect their devices, system accounts, and Lock Screen passcodes.
Because the current version of the App does not store users’ personal information on the developer’s servers, there is generally no server-side personal data for the developer to export, delete, or correct.

If a future version adds accounts, cloud synchronization, HealthKit, location, sensors, analytics, crash reporting, advertising, subscriptions, customer support forms, or other features that collect data, this Privacy Policy will be updated, along with the App Privacy information in App Store Connect when necessary.
Material changes will be communicated to users, where reasonably practicable, through the App, a release page, or other appropriate means.
